awe, now wasn't that wonderful

Nothing like spending a weekend with the ones you love to spend time with and have the odd surprise thrown in to the mix.  With nothing much in the plans we kept busy doing what we do and having fun doing it. The weather was just fabulous and is still on a warm trend WITHOUT  HUMIDITY although there was word of a storm cloud passing through, thankfully we only caught a glimpse and for whatever reason it blew right by. Somethings are better left for others to pick up after. There was a constant flow of traffic as the garden centre across the road had yet another bloom'n weekend and so many customers were loading their vehicles with pretties to plant, bushes to bury and dirt to dig in.

A few stitches were pulled through and there are still a gazillion confetti stitches to cross and I am sure as some point they will meet their crossings. NT is in fact coming along and it may just go west with me in a few days. Maybe, maybe not, I do have another wedding sampler to pull together for August and I am sure a good part of that one could come together for a few days.

Cheers to having a fantastic first long weekend of the summer and a great following week, spending your time with good friends, good food and a few good stitches.

  4. Sounds like it was a very relaxing weekend! Unfortunately I got to experience some of your missing humidity while I was in Windsor.
