Well, it's true, he is now home and resting comfortably. Let the healing begin, apparently it hurts when he laughs, but I don't feel pain at all! Humor is one of life's greatest healers and by god if we can't laugh we're dying, but wait, it could have gone that way in a heartbeat, but someone knows I'm not finished with him yet so,,, he's back and ready to roll, really slow right now but give him a couple'a weeks and he'll be the one cracking the jokes and making laughter heard.
Many Thanks to all of your wonderfully encouraging thoughts and prayers.

Great news ! Thanks for letting us know. Give him a hug from me!
ReplyDeleteYeah, he's home! Now be nice and don't pick on him too much!
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear. Don't get your joke book out just yet, give him a couple days!
ReplyDeleteSending you a houseful of love and laughter!! XO
ReplyDeleteGood to hear he is home (I think) sorry did I say that!!! Hope all goes well and I remember Steve having over 135 stitches in his neck (bad car accident) he begged us not to make him laugh. It hurt pretty bad. Trust me it does get better. Hope to see you soon, I am sure Larry will be a great patient. If you need booze, give me a call. Give him a hug for me and tell him I send our best wishes. If he and you need an ice cream run I can do that too. What are the flavours again????

I've been thinking about you two and I'm so glad to hear that things went well. Bob was back at work, sitting on the organ bench, just three weeks post-op.Mind you the first week was his roughest and I do remember that chuckling didn't help. I hope he heals quickly and that you can keep the jokes at bay for a couple of days anyway!
ReplyDeleteSo glad that Larry is home and beginning to feel better! Just take things one day at a time and even though it may get rough - you will both pull through it all. Hugs to you guys and we are here for you!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh I remember how it hurt so bad to laugh after surgery. I thought for sure I would put someones eye out with a popped staple if they didn't knock it off!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear he's on the mend!
I'm so glad your Larry is home and doing well. Be kind - don't make him laugh too much! Love the border pic and is that an iced tea, of the Long Island variety, in your hand! My size drink! ;-)
ReplyDeleteGlad for the news.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear he is home. Hope his recovery is quick and you behave yourself. My thought are with you guys and all the best.
