Hurry Up and Wait ~ WTF

CAUTION

if I shall spew the word
 S#!+
anytime in this post,
please, either ignore it
or say it right along with me.
 I must admit,
even though I try not to set expectations
this time I did
and for what ever reason
those expectations have been brought
to a freak'n scream'n halt!
 S#!+  S#!+ and double S#!+
and the most annoying part is,
these expectations were postponed
without  the knowledge of a certain
 specialist knowing!
Let me tell ya,
Things that make you say S#!+
So,
after an explaniation that was provided
though a laughing receptionist,
a few excuses that passed the buck,
a few phone calls to those who should be aware
of the lack of communication within,
 we have another month
to hurry up and wait
in that long line up of bureaucratic bull S#!+

After a day like this
let me tell ya,
it's sure good to know
we always have fun
as we sit together enjoying each other
and the sunshine,
here @ Henley's Landing.

Hope you are having sunshine to enjoy, it's just rain and more rain here.

  2. You have got to be kidding - another month?!?! First it was May, then June, and now July! Are they trying to see if the stress will drive one or both or you nuts? Thank goodness you got to go to retreat. Hope the sun shines today and cheers you both.

  3. And I thought I was the only one who said Double S#!+.
Welcome to life in our wonderful healthcare system. NOT!!! The stress can kill you before they fix what ails you.
I'm so sorry that the wait goes on but it sounds like you still have a smile on your face which makes all the difference.

  4. I was so sorry to hear about what happened. It isn't right but I know it will all work out - even though it is hard right now to handle. Hang in there and I'm here for you and yours whenever you need it! Hold onto each other - it will help!

  5. Sorry you're having trouble, Jayne. Hope it gets better ASAP. (Hurry up and wait does suck though. You have my sympathies.)

  6. Wow, I can't believe it! I think I would want to come through the phone a punch out the receptionist! The worst part is the waiting....and not to be put off again seems truly torture!
