Things are back to our regular schedule as far as our Stitching Sisters Wednesday Togetherness. We have gathered for many years and will continue to do and now that the summer months have passed by we find ourselves getting used to the idea of two locations: down at a local community centre and Henley's Landing. Now if everyone takes a quick look at a calendar, takes a second to focus, maybe, just maybe we can get on the same day! 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month are at the centre and the alternates are here @ Henley's Landing.
With an almost full "big ole table" we shared many summer experiences, well, in all honesty it was probably the past weeks experiences simply because we do this every week, but this week we enjoyed a wonderful visitor from across the pond, shared some beautiful and touching wedding pictures, opened up a couple of maps, pulled a few stitches, missed those who could not attend, and laughed for the entire evening.
In knowing that our wonderful "4 from Forest" also gathered last night I am sure that the wave length was pretty much the same in their neck of the woods too and I know they will have a few memories of their laughter also. Cheers to our Wednesdays !
Today, I may just stitch.
Maybe,
and if it doesn't rain
I may not.
Cheers to whatever today will bring and may it bring you the simplest things in life that you may typically overlook.

So glad to hear that your stitching night was just as much fun as ours was!! Laughter really IS the best medicine :-)
ReplyDeleteFunny you should mention our "neck of the woods", because that's exactly where we were last night... at Anita's little get-away cabin in the woods!
Here's a post from our blog when we got together there last year at this time - http://morethanjustcrossstitchin.blogspot.ca/search/label/quilting
Stitching with friends is always better :)
ReplyDeleteI have no doubt that your gatherings are tons of fun! Enjoy your weekend!
