Cheers to tonight

Tonight our Stitching Sisters are gathering to share our fun lov'n laughter in one of our favorite restaurants here in town and I hope they are ready for some of the laughter to overflow throughout their establishment.

A few years ago we all decided that we would go out for dinner rather than have a potluck or a sit down at one of our homes. You know, the busy schedules of work and family life sometimes doesn't allow us to set aside time to do all the preparations for such an event, so keeping that in mind and understanding that most people simply do not have the room to sit our group. So the plan was that we would all meet up at a selected destination for dinner and well, the rest is history. It is so nice to have someone prepare dinner and we just show up. hmmmm I wonder if the gals at Brentwood would be interested in doing a Christmas dinner in May??? lol Maybe BBQ Turkey out on the new deck....just say'n...and getting side tracked again. So as this day progresses the busyness comes too and puppy has to go for a walk up to the vets for some shots.

anyway, back to this evening and our group of Stitching Sisters. With a bakers dozen to arrive, some from near, some from afar, we will be thinking of those whom are unable to attend and wish them the best of everything.

Our friends out in Forest,,, known as The Four From Forest gathered last night and I can't wait to see their joyfulness on their blog. I bet they had a blast and I also bet that there was some balking tackwards. (all goodie induced) I can just imagine the table of goodies that was included in their spread. In knowing these women, one would totally understand that and would also know just how much they adore the time they spend together doing what they love to do.
Cheers.

Now on with the day and bring on the night.

  2. I hope you and the Sisters have as much fun as we (the Four from Forest) did last night/day!! Even though we started mid-afternoon, my head didn't hit the pillow until 1:30 am, so I'm still shaking out the cobwebs this morning :-)

What excitement, opening our gifts to one another... and even more so when we opened the package of beautiful, hand-made ornaments from our special friends, the Stitching Sisters. We can not thank-you enough for your kindness and generosity!! Thank-you, Thank-you, Thank-you!!!!!

Not sure when we'll get around to a post about our adventures yesterday - you see, Bonnie took most of the pictures on her camera, so we have to get together and co-ordinate our efforts. Who knows how long that will take!

Have a wonderful Christmas celebration tonight, and our love to you all!!! :-)
